Overview
NGG is delighted to offer this opportunity to invest in a Radio Frequency Testing Company Utilising Disruptive Technologies.
All mobile operators and network affiliated sector participants undertake regular testing of their own and their competitor’s RF networks using drive testing and walk-testing to investigate the breath and quality of the signal reception.
Presently, the process of collecting and analysing the collected data is expensive, incomplete, inaccurate and frequently out of date, they drive customised vans with expensive unreliable specialised equipment along the main aerial roads and interpolate the coverage between their captured data points. There has been no advancement in the collection of the signal data for over 20 years.
Our client has developed the industry’s only fully unique ‘zero-touch’ RF data collection system, being an integrated automatic technology solution for the accurate and cost effective testing and analysis of complex RF networks. This system solution has already been recognised by Tier I customers Optus and Telstra and is being trial tested in North Europe. They have captured approx. 70% of the Australian ‘walk testing’ market and now undertake all testing for Huawai, Kordia and CAM (the largest network integrators and equipment suppliers) domestically.
Our client has a range of products to continually test the networks, from small self-contained easy to use, reliable walk testing pack for individual building assessments to mass deployable continuous, real time monitoring platforms contained with large shopping centre complexes. They are in deep partnership discussions with Australia Post to utilise their mail carriage service providers to collect data every day through a small collection device attached to the mail bike or van. Presently, the company is engaged with similar groups across the globe CTT, Deutsche Post, Denmark Post, Eire (Ireland) and New Zealand.
The global market for cellular RF testing is over USD$3.5Billion p.a.
Our client’s Board and Management comprise of very experienced industry executives, who have worked to develop this disruptive solution for the last 7 years.
Existing contracts indicate profitably within a very short time with Net Earnings in year 1 at $4.2 million climbing to $39 million in year 2. The contractual pipeline includes multi-million Drive testing opportunities with multiple postal organisations in Europe, USA and Asia Pacific. The new equity will be partially utilised to bring these opportunities to a positive conclusion.
Exit Strategy
The company would be looking for a trade sale within 4/5 years
